Most polymers have a mlting point of 380 degrees or more. Unless you plan on shooting inside a volcano or a building that's fully ingulfed in flames, you shouldn't have any issues.

I have to say 'none'. Glocks just doesn't do anything for me. Don't get me wrong, Glocks are good pistols, but to me they just lack character.

Pistols have a following just like trucks. You either love Chevy or hate it, love Dopdge or hate it.... Same thing with guns. Some swear by Sig, some H&K, some Glock, ect, ect... All of the top manufactures are great guns, and hell some of the smaller companies aren't too shabby as well.

Most important thing with pistols is find one that you shoot well and feels comfortable in your hand..

For me that's a Glock 29 for personal defence. I thought a Glock 23 would be a good gun for the wife, but she doesn't shoot it well. She really likes it, but can't hit crap. So now she carries a S&W Sigma in 40. I don't shoot that gun as good as my glock, but she is crazy accurate with it... IMHO the Glock is a much much better gun, but for what she uses it for the S&W is better.. so yes its just like trucks.

I only have three pistols, glock 22, glock 19 and a stainless colt .38 special revolver, these three pistols are deadly accurate that's why I love them. I've also hog hunted with each and been succesful.

I own a 17, 22, 26 and a 32. I have other pistols and some revolvers but I only rely on and carry Glocks. I have owned the 22 .40 since 1997 and have acquired the others over time with the 32 being the newest acquisition and have never had a ftf, jam or any other failure.
