All his horses were under weight when I went there and he didn't care much. Only cared about three or four of his horses and not the rest of them. Some people just don't care about nothing but themselves.
Man, glad you were there to take some of the horses. Poor things...people like that have no right to ever own an animal. >

I'm feeling pretty good. Brandon and I went for a pretty good walk when he got home so I could loosen up a bit...got the crap scared out of us (well, Brandon was scared, I wanted to investigate
) by a flock of turkeys falling through the trees up the road from us...darn things are too dumb to even know how to perch!!

Claims adjuster came out to look at the Jeep this afternoon...looks like they will be able to fix it. So far the external damage is going to run about $4700. They're going to put it on a lift either tomorrow or Friday to assess the under body damage. I'm really surprised that it can be fixed because that backend sure looks pretty messed up. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait to get my Dodge CTD... :'(

Went out to training in La Grange in 86. That was extremely cool.

We also have a 3612 Kitty Cat out back. 10 inch bore, 11 inch stroke. 4800 HP at 900 rpums. Just under four MWE output. Schweeet.......

I love'em.
The EMD's are actually made by general motors i believe we make GE locomotives AC4400's are our best ones really most reliable and put out 4400 HP from the turbocharged 16cyl diesel but the diesel engine is only there to power the 6 electric motors 1 per axle.... Now our newest one is called an AC6000 not as reliable but puts out (you guessed it) 6000HP from its twin turbocharged 16cyl and oh yeah guess what kinda fuel pumps these babies use oh yeah you know we use Bosch pumps and injectors!!!
Re:What is it ya'all do...
You are zackly right on the GM. We just replaced all 20 power packs on two of them. That was a neat job. I love those big hammers.
The big Cat burns I thing 275 gallons per hour at full load. Pweh, glad I aint paying that bill. Wait a minute, electric bill, crap, I am paying that bill.
I'd love to see one of those 6000's you are talking about. Got any pics?

What is that you guys do that allows you to post to DTR 24/7?? I, as you all probably know, am a graphic artist when I'm not monkeying around with my animals, my boats, or my honey *grin*...and I know Jack is a computer guru, dieseldude is the Homer Simpson of the nuclear reactor world, Huey is a doughnut connisseur and Cattle Hauler makes those foam rubber fingers you see at football games and, well, hauls cattle...so what is it the rest of you do, or are you just really good at eluding your bosses watchful eye??

I think most everyone here probably knows this already because it's been discussed before, but I work in commercial construction. I'm a Project Engineer for a large commercial contractor in Dallas.

Re:What is it ya'all do...
Hehehe...funny you should mention that. I worked my way through college driving forklifts and flatbed trucks for a local lumber yard. On more than one occasion we lifted more with those lifts than they were designed to lift. While we never actually flipped one (or ran one off a dock), there were many times when we had the back wheels off the ground. ;D It's all a matter of physics...
