I wear some crappy steel toed miltary issued boots. The grips wear out every 4 months. The toes are a little tight. But they are free. Other then that I wear Danners

Well, I work in some pretty harsh conditions in the marine/oil transport buisness. 90% outside, and I don't get the luxury of going inside when it rains. The hardest thing I've had in getting a good pair of boots, is finding one that will stay dry in poor wet conditions for 8-12hrs strait. I've tried most listed and all with Goretex, and they would all leak eventually. The best pair I've had so far was a pair of Wolverines, that are no longer made. So now in about 2 days, I'm going to try Bellevile's 880ST's. I'm not too concrned with break in, I just need a water tight boot that stays that way for more than a few months. I know the leather they use in combat boots are nearly bullet proof, and combined with Goretex, I'm hoping my search finally comes to an end.

I always wear Danners. My latest pair are the Forman GTX. They are gortex and the most comfortable boot I have had fror many hours on concrete and asphalt..

Doc Martens for me as well........I've had these boots for almost 4 years and wear them everyday. Fit like a glove and have taken some major abuse. Tread is still in great shape, I'm thinking I can get another 3 to 4 years out of these. I love them!!!

I used to wear Georgia, had a pair that I bought when I was 14 and finally threw them away when I was I think 21. I actually still have a pair of Georgias that I wear when it's really cold and wet out, them suckers are 100% waterproof and are extremely comfortable. The only problem is my feet get so hot I can't wear them unless its REALLY cold out!!

Had a couple pairs of Ariats, loved them too. Great fitting boots just switched for no real reason.

Had Justin boots when I was younger but those were real hit and miss as far as comfort.

Wolverine and Olathe

Wolverine for work and nice pair of 20 inch high Olathe boots from them yankees up in Kans-*** for dress. At least I thought it was up in Kans-***. Their internet site shows they are Mercedes Texas now. Great. Now I'm supporting the dang Longhorns instead of the Gayhawks. I don't know which it worse. Definately the Longhorns!! (just getting your hackles up, I'm sure there aren't too many Cowboy fans out there! Please don't stone me!)
