I am an Air Force Combat Arms Instructor, which means I teach everything from the M9 and M11 pistols, M4 carbine & M16A2 rifle to the M240 MG, MK.19 GL-MG, etc... [/quote]

I wish I had a cool job like that.....

I make my living as an Industrial Instrument Technologist/Instrument Mechanic and work in a coal fired power plant....challenging and interesting job...I have a diverse background and over the last 8 years Ive worked in a number of different industires, including oil and gas, pipeline operations, pulp & paper and research & development of leading edge technologies.

PS....looking for work in the U.S.....if anyone is looking for an Instrument Technologist....PM me.... ;D

Well, I love to shoot and fix guns, so I like it. But, the job keeps us instructors busy, 4000 plus folks on this base to train, so no rest for the wicked -Steve

Re:What does every one do for a living?

i'm Tom as a bunch probably know by now . went to college for 3 months, hated it, and quit. i finally found a part-time job that i like--being a delivery driver. i just started my own business and am still pulling everything together. i also do a little maintenance now and then to fill in the cracks, but it's nothing i'm dependant on. It's been a tough couple months here, but everything's pulling back together. Entrepeneurship is the only way i'll be happy (you don't get rich by working for someone else). my truck's going to work, and am looking at getting a flatbed cummins in the future (maybe soon, the payments are a struggle, but worth it).

i love anything with a motor and am fanatical about snowmobiling and high performance diesels!

In the end, do what makes you happy

Tom

Re:What does every one do for a living?

I'm Terry, self employed. We sale, service and repair the pumps in all hospitals that supply breathing air or medical vacuum ( when the doc is sucking out your bleeding guts). We also do the pumps in power plants that help keep our electricity at payable rates (we had nothing to do with the black out up north) . We work 6-7 days a week, 10-16 hours a day. I have the BEST wife any man could ask for, she does all the books, billing and all that junk I don't care to know about, talks to customers, takes orders, orders parts, and STILL has me dinner waiting when I come home, and I'm always late, but dinner is always hot. Got 2 girls, 1 son, 1 granddaughter, and 1 grandaughter in the oven. Up to MY EARS in debt, but loving every minute of it, and the DOD / Navsea has called about doing work with the Trident subs, can anyone say Thank You Lord.......YEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

It appears that my sole function in life is DWI (Dealing With Idiots). I specialize in carnialanalology. For the uninformed, it is the removal of ones head from their ****.
My weapons experience extends from .177 cal pellet rifles to stuff that makes you glow in the dark for a long time.
Try not to listen to that old retarded "green hat", he tends to run up and down the streets naked when he gets a snoot full of Bamuba.

Re:What does every one do for a living?

Phillip here. Im 24, and recently married to the most beautiful woman in the world. No kids yet, but I do look forward to fatherhood. I am a pipe designer for one of the "big three" engineering firms in the world. I like my job, but it never keeps me away from what I was raised doing: Loving Jesus, running cattle, and roping steers.

I live out in the country on my family's 450 acre ranch. My dad and I run about 200 head of cattle on our land, and multiple lease pastures. I work in the city, and drive as fast as I can to get back to the country every day.

I love to hunt, fish, team rope, and serve the Lord.

Phillip
