Sounds like another brown bagging to me. If they live in Ohio I offer my services. Just send me a PM and consider it done
the last person that i saw beating on his wife/girlfriend was unconscious in a puddle of his own blood after i finished with him.
unfortunantly there isn't much you can do. its up to her to report it and up to her to take the first step and leave him.

A little over a year ago all the problems in our marriage that we ignored came to head one night. One mark on my wifes arm was all it took to get some jail time and 6 months worth of anger classes. I regret that it took this terrible incident for us to realize that our problems needed to be worked out rather than ignored, but it was the best thing for our marriage in the end.
Everyone is right that she needs to do something about it. People like him just make me boil. Hope she doesn't end up like the latest here in the cities.

I am divided on this. I am all for doing things legally, which is how it needs to be done.
However, there is a part of me that feels this is the way we need to deal with the wife/child beaters, to quote my favorite one of the country "Outlaws" Charlie Daniels:
"Just take them rascals out in the swamp, put 'em on their knees and tie 'em to a stump, let the rabbits and the bugs and the alligators do the rest".

Years back I found out that my sister had been beat up by her boyfriend. She never saw this kind of crap at home and never deserved it. Then I got a call that he did it again. I went for a drive and said hello to him. A few weeks later my sister called and thanked me. Never talked to him or saw him again. However, her girlfriend who was subjected to this kind of crap with a different guy is no longer able to work, and has paralysis in her right side from 'falling down the stairs'. I/we all know what happened and she still went back to him. Unfortunately some woman exposed to this end up convincing themselves or believing the beater it will get better or they deserve no better. Sick thinking which is what the beater wants. More often then not theres an addiction or cycle of abuse that starts all this and once a woman encounters this...it takes more then her own Will to get out of it. My thoughts and prayers are with her and the loved ones effected by this loser.
Lary, I am good to go. You hit em' high and I'll hit em' low.
Heres a very disturbing statistic. A person in an abusive relationship will stick it out or go back to the sicko on average 13 TIMES!

Talk to her, let her know, and show her that there is options, and that you will walk the road with her.
This comes down to her making a decision that will be her's to make alone, but will after need all the help that you, and other family can muster.
