Welcome to the October virtual break room

Time flies when your having fun. Are we having fun yet? October all ready. Just think, it's only 31 more days to November, then December, then 2021! 44° and maybe rain, or maybe not. Yesterday's heavy rains never happened. Now they are saying today. I was hoping for snow, but it warmed up suddenly. Cleaning up and out my shop. Relocating stuff the wife stored in there over to the storage container. Junk getting cleaned out of there too. Hard to decide what to pitch. Hasn't been used in a decade, but I might need it some decade. Hanging on to the 1st gen parts I can't replace.

Well, at 1 pm I had an ego moment. First of October. Sun shining. New tires on the motorcycle.
I took a ride and had a lot of fun. Didn't take pictures. So that's a moment only for me until dementia or death will take it. It was a good moment.

I'm mulling over the same dilemmi?? Is that plural for dilemma? Organize shop? Got a truck bed full of tupperware the wife is "saving" from when she was a dealer for them....Fix my big compressor, or start working on all the parts I have been acquiring for the Dodge to include, injectors, head studs, intake horn, seat cushion and covers, take the hoodliner out (gotten kinda ratty) before the weather changes.??..Rains here don't seem to be hitting according to the weatherman, so I watch the wildlife around my place for a heads up....enjoy your weekends.

Got parts, just no truck to work on. Its still in the shop getting the brakes done. 31°, any precipitation will come down as snow. Not holding my breath. If it doesn't, I'll try and level the gardening shed. Watched you tubes on getting abandoned heavy equipment running again and others unstuck. I wish I could find a project like that. Put more stuff up for sale, sold some stuff.

Dark, very dark, it's so dark, you can't see the cat in front of your face. Guess I better turn the light on. That's better. No Morris, you can't go out. It's dark outside.
39° and clouds. High expected is 43° and maybe a chance of some showers.
Applied to National Auto Parts Association this morning as a sales person. I may be over qualified. I know what a lug nut is.

Today it was a sunny day almost without clouds here.
Started to work at 5:30 (pitch dark) got breakfast at 19:10 (sky turning black )
Most of the work is fixing very old errors. Maybe they would not have surfaced in my lifetime, but it still niggles that they were there.

Would have been nice if there was income correlated to the amount of work..

40° dropping to 34° at sunrise. 42° for a high, maybe. Snow is back in the forecast. We shall see. Wife overloaded the lazy susan in the corner cabinet with her cast iron pots and pans. Got to figure out how to fix it.

The last couple days we've dropped below freezing just about sun up. By the end of the week our high will be below freezing, overnight lows dropping into the teens. Need to get the snow tires on the wife's car. Fixed Susan by raising the door. The people that installed it screwed up.

I was hoping to get our 1st snow last night. Instead it rained then froze. I'm going to be doing a lot of scrapping.

I spoke too soon. After I got back from changing over my tires it had snowed. 18° this morning, topping out at 29°. And there's Mr. Morris in the window complaining about the cold.

I woke up to a little more snow in my yard yesterday morning than in cougar's picture from 10 days ago.
Winter is slowly moving in.

Most of the 9 cords of wood are stacked and covered with old tin roofing. The last two big things to do are oil undercoat the winter rig and trailer, then the old yard plow needs a little pre season care.

I got out of the shop today, and on my drive to town, I could see all the trails are white on the local skiing and snowboarding MT.
