We have a traitor in our midst...

Was going to meet one of my CTD buddies for a couple games of pool last night , i pull into the bar , and don't see his truck , then back in the corner of the lot i see a set of headlights flash at me. so i wander back there , and i see a 2nd Gen dually sitting there. I know this can't be him , because he drives a first gen SRW . I pull up beside the truck , and it says V10 on the door *gasp*... If the guilty party wishes to fess up , then he knows how to do it...

Driving a truck that doesn't run on anything remotely similar to #2

You just better hope he's going to do a V10/Cummins conversion.

I had a 97 2500 V10. Great truck - would pass anything except a gas station.

I miss it. Long story why I got rid of it, but it was a good truck.

My V-10 was a good truck. Noisy for a gasser, but sure had the power and very smooth. Great mileage, too.

Anyone who would go from a Cummins to a gasser should be subjected to wild women until he confesses the error of his ways...

Wow , you must get good milage in a v 10, our shop truck at work has the dodge v10 , and it has been known to get a whopping 185KMS to a tank of fuel (120L), that my friends , is poor fuel milage... Yes that was all city driving , but even on the highway it is lucky to break 300 kms on a tank.

I also spent some time driving a V-10. It would not pass many gas stations, and passed NO CUMMINS!!!

I actually thought I could build a 400 cube small block dodge that could pull as much.

Well... I... er... see... There is a good explanation for this so bear with me

It was my uncles truck... 95, 4x4 DRW, Auto, Most of the 'at the time' creature features, 93 000KMS with the not so good V10. On top of it all it also had a paintjob recently that was, in my opinion, very well done(she's black). It won't necessarily be driven alot but in a years time I'd like to see a cummins thrown into it. I mean, for the price we paid, it's an excellent deal and as far as fuel milage goes it's not completely ludarcris like some say but it isn't great either.

*Lets out a sigh of relief* There... now you all know the truth.
