The Water Cooler August 6 - 12
WOW!
looks like the new week starts off with some drama......
Sunday AM, coffee's ready, no activity in the galley.
Trash cans are MIA.
Trying to finish up a few last details on the rental house to get it on the market before the end of the month.
Thank goodness, there's finally a light at the end of the tunnel.
Y'all enjoy the slightly cooler weather.

woah, note to self.... " self, make sure external cooling system comes on when computer comes on, processors don't like wallowing in their own heat" man that was close, turned on comp for a morning surf session and didn't notice that my cooling system did not come on, bout five minutes into it comp started getting laggy, then unresponsive, then lost video
wait, no fans on the radiator running, look in the resevoir, no water pumping
reach around back and unplug........ seems that while doing a little dust removal last night I giggled the wrong wire, and it was the power feed to the cooling system...... well get that plug fixed, power on long enough to read water temp of 150 deg
not a happy cpu @ 90 deg let alone 150, cooling system invokes auto shut down, wait a few minutes, try again, this time it flows enough water to quickly drop the temp and system actually boots
, sure it threw out all my overclock settings but hey , it lives. no aparent permanent damage........ phew it would have been a real pita to find the exact chip I have, and it would not have been cheap.
On the list of things to do, gotta re fill feeder down at my gun club property, should tear into one of my filters on my 225 gallon cichlid tank and clean it, should get wifey's explorer's oil changed, & should plop down and watch em turn left!

Hey ever-body !!!
I made it back after 2 weeks of being MIA !!! Spent a week in Norfolk for my retirement seminars and then spent a week on the farm. Grass is higher than a giraffes belly and the ticks are at the ridiculous level. I made the mistake of taking a walk out in the pasture last week. I literally have thousands of bites all over me. My ankles look like a bowl of lumpy oatmeal and it don't get much better the higher up ya look. Them bugs even got to places that .... well, bugs ain't even s'posed to go there !! I spent 9 hours on a confined airplane rubbin and scratchin to beat the band !! The poor lady sittin next to me must've thought I had turrets syndrome.
I left Atlanta yesterday in 93* heat but landed in Stuttgart this morning to 59* ..... aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!! Ya jealous ??
Well, time to go hop a shower and find something to throw down the throat.
Take it easy !!

Head is hurtin' a little from the Ted Nugent concert last night.
That guy is one heckuva guitar player. Gotta love somebody that decorates the stage with a .50 cal and machine guns
Welcome back PW, thought we were gonna have to send a search party out for ya'.
Sounds like I hear the wife makin' waffles in the kitchen, gotta go.

Hi gang,
Sorry I missed the coffee time for a few days - - been on the road (finally) and made it as far as Illinois. Wow, 102 on the old temp gauge coming thru Kentucky - - it was 89 for a high in Florida the day before leaving. Hated leaving the pool, Flash - - it was nice. Hope that raft trip went well. Fun.
Leave out of here tomorrow and head some more north into Wisconsin for a week or two - - whatever. Then, over the top and down the west coast of Michigan. See if we can hook up with Don and Chaikwa while over there, unless we are coming thru in the middle of the night.
Take care - - hold it in the road - - write more later.

Monday AM.
Glad to be back at work so I can get a break from the Honey-Do list.
Mother Nature provided the audible/visual alarm clock at 0430 hrs.
T-storms that were forecast for last evening rolled through.
Cooler temps (slightly cooler, that is) with humidity today.
Coffee is finally back on the morning menu.
Y'all remember to slip into the work week gradually.
