Morning/early afternoon folks.
Troops had the day off yesterday for a bit of R & R. The demobilization process got cranked up this morning. Should have the first bunch headed home Monday. Had another plane load due in this morning, however the plane had a problem and is hung up in Bangor, Maine. At least they're back on US soil.
Got to shake the hands and hug a bunch of them. One of the platoons, 36 men total, had 47 purple hearts awarded. Zero KIA. Troops are reporting very good leadership at the platoon level. Very poor at the battalion level. Troop moral is low. The AAR's on this deployment are going to be interesting.
They are very glad to get home. I wish that the Vietnam vets would have gotten the same attention when they returned. This post seems to be taking a real interest in the returning troops. Ft. Sill doesn't want to get the reputation some of the other posts have.
Got to get back to the troops.

Hi all,
It will be sunny and in the 60's today. Yard work call's
Bob take wife out for a nice lunch at one of her favorite places on way home from the hospital.
Heather, if you have to get a new operationg system cd, you might want to upgrade to a newer system. If your computer can handle it windso XP profession is a bit pricey, but a good system. Look on E-bay for the software. gud luk.
Be flying down to AZ in a couple of weeks to check out some of the RV parks around Florance and Casa Grande.
Have a great day ya'll

Hey, on third cup of . Now life begins. Wife home - - slept wonderful after big daddy did some pampering. She is doing amazing for what she had. This was normally about 4 -5 days in the hospital. Arthroscopic surgery - - four little holes in the abdomen. Pain is quite low. Some of the younger women will go home the same day - - since she is 39 now they wanted an overnight.

Sun shining in the window - - gorgeous out. Low 70's today. Life is good.
