Yeeee-Haaaa!
The furnace is fixed.
If I only had a connection to get the parts I could have fixed it two days ago.
Igniter was cracked.

Oh well, State tax check came back today.......gotta spend it somewhere....

It felt like some of the old PD 680 solvent we used to use. To be on the safe side, I doubled the dose of additive. Couldn't tell any difference performance wise.
Could this be some of the "newer" super low sulfur fuel?
Time for breakfast.

How did it taste? It should have less of a rotten egg taste to it if it is the lower sulfer fuel

I've noticed this at the station I usually get my fuel from.

Changes from season to season.
Summer it's a bright shade of antifreeze green, fall it is a dull old antifreeze green,
winter it is much duller, almost a brownish tan shade.

Been filling up at the station down the road from the usual, since they've had it .10 cents cheaper for the last couple of weeks, and it looks "dirtier", and smells more pungent.
I know they're moving more than the usual station, every time I drive by there's someone filling up at the green handled pump.
Haven't seen anyone at the usual for the same couple of weeks.

Can't feel any performance difference though.

Using troopers from all over the district and local agency's. Have a helicoptor up for photo's along the 6 mile stretch. ALready scheduled for a double, gonna be a looong night. Ok, back to work.
Well, just shy of 100 vehicles involved, 35 wounded. Road is open.

Went from sunny to white-out without warning. Lake effect band right across that narrow stretch.

Changed to 30* & snow by 0900
Winds came up gusting to 50 mph.
At 1500 the sun came out. (still cold & windy though)

We had lake effect down here today - - a little rain off the gulf, then that blasted sun came out again and it got so hot had to turn on the AC in the car. A lttiel more rain and cooler tomorrow (65), then warm the rest of the week.

Have a good day and behave.

0030 and I'm tired. 250 troops on the ground and more coming in tomorrow and Thursday.
Sure was glad to see them home.
Finished A beer, headed to bed.

Keep up the good work SR I too am grateful to see these people welcomed home as Heroes, I can still recall the shameful acts people in this country exhibited back in the 60's and 70's to all our fine soldiers.

We may have to start up a beer collection for you, as I know you are going to try an buy one for everyone of them.

Which was the unusual part for Top? Being bright or being early?
