Got the barn started yesterday, got all the posts set and the girts on, ought to have the roof finished today. Small company out of Tallequah OK is building it, nice kid runs it, but he didnt make it up 'cause the engine blew up in his 04 3500 CTD. He has had it less than a full year, but already has put over 100K on it travelling around building barns. Guess he just learned to check the oil the hard way. He told me he is 3000 over warranty on it, so its gotta hurt.....anyone know a cheap place in OK to get one rebuilt??

Been a slow night here, ready to go home and ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...
if that 0800 crew would only decide they wanted to come in early.......

I used to live in Tahlequah. Who's doing your barn? It's been a few years but I still know a few people there.

As far as a rebuild, probably not the cheapest but Tahlequah has (or at least had) a real good machine shop. I don't know how they are on the Cummins but they do good work on gassers and race cars. Have him talk to Fausten at Shinook Machine out east of Tahlequah on Hwy 62 just west of the Hwy 10 junction.

Well back to work for some rest. Them fishies can where a guy out.
The rain really kicked them in the hiney and they're stacking up in The Betsy. Released a few the hard way and the easy way, still got my limit both days. 4 going in to the smoker Monday. They were all pretty fresh run, but saved a bute for some filets. Lost a couple of monsters that might not havbe fit in the cooler. One even drew blood. The reel was screaming so bad I went to palm it and the handle caught muy thumb and layed it open. I had the drag on the firm side and it was spinning so fast it would have still free spooled and make a nice bird nest. Tried for a few lake run browns for a while, but they didn't seem to be in quite yet. Let Kaley come into the river and trudge around a while. Got a few pictures of her walking out against the current, but the camera ended up getting wet later. Just hoping the film wasn't contaminated. Monday or teusday are gonna be bird days. Ok, coffee cup is getting lonely.
