Rain and gloomy yesterday. Today not a cloud in the clear sunny sky. 60 degrees.

I'm at work so somebody else enjoy it for me.

Gotta go,

I am back from my Denver run and survived Tops constant bantering about something about his legs. He also kept getting stuck in the corner of the elevator.

Cold and cloudy here today...hmmm I think its gonna be winter here soon.

Tinkering on products today. Its nice to be home.

Dad called me yesterday, asked if I was doing anything.

Wanted me to drive him up to Idaho Falls to pick up a couple new vehicles.
Turns out his wife wanted to buy a new Tahoe, so he, half jokingly, said "well if you get a new car, how bout getting me one of them new little Chevy trucks with the old style front"

So she did.
She has a niece that is the finance manager for a dealership up there.

3 1/2 hour drive up there.
Salesman goes through the motions of how to operate all the bells and whistles on a fully loaded 2005 Tahoe and a fully loaded 2004 SSR.
(they only get so many SSR's and they only had one left, the red 2004)
On the way back my dad suggested we switch off driving the 3 vehicles.
Yes, I did get to put 100 miles on the SSR, and 100 miles on the Tahoe.

Will attempt to attach photo.
He did say he'd leave me the SSR when he passes.
Yes, it's a chevy, but driving it kinda makes you forget the bowtie on the front.

Both my dad and I are big men,
not Scotty big , but still big.

We both fit in there pretty comfortably, although getting in and out is a chore

Same exact engine that the Tahoe has, in a vehicle easily half the weight.

Good morning everyone. Start of a new week.
Hope you all had a good, safe weekend and my best to you all through this week.

Waiting for the coffee to warm up, raining with snow likely by mid week.

Rich.

Sounds like you had a good time! Hopefully you won't mind hooking up again your next time through?

Scotty, mind if I post the pics of your truck with the sweet hitch??
