Good quality red oak. Flooring for some lowboy trailers.
Could have taken one of the shop trucks but being the nice guy that I am, told them I would pick it up since the sawmill was close to the house. Even if I would have been in the shop truck, I don't think it would have made any difference. Just one of those things.
I knew I had a ding in the fender and bumper. Heck of a way to get those fixed. Hoping they will just replace the entire bed. It was buckled a bit.

Poor Baby, Shortround. We all bleed with you. Not fun.

Great day in the sunshine state - - warm sun, pool just right, flowers out in full glory, starting to feel a little like summer. Going into the 90's in the center of the state.

I pick up the Ghost this afternoon. It has been at the dealers for two weeks trying to solve this chatter in the drive train. Tough finding it. Hope they got it - - changed out some bearings in the six speed. We'll see this afternoon. They gave no promises and STAR was useless in giving them any help. Not right when the consumer has to track down problems - - the dealer has been super in working with me, but they need some help from the big guys - - none coming.

Hides my ballpeen hammer from Huey and tells Shortround I was no where near the alleged offense at the alleged time of the alleged mishap

Sorry your days started out so bad...Mine on the other hand finally took a turn for the better as I isolated the mysterious warning horn problem on my boat.

It was the dual battery switch gone haywire, it was cooking the warning module when I tried to start the engine. Who'd a thunk it

Tore out dual battery switch, replaced cooked module and all is well in boat land again. I am just thankful it didn't cook the ignition system and really cost me some dollars.

Ended up an $80.00 fix and a trashed dual battery switch. I guess those 12 volt systems, really do not like 24 volts after all

Can't figure out what was wrong with that switch, it was in perfect shape when I bought it new in 1994

Good evening all,
John ... the move is barely creeping so far. Got the horse trailer 3/4 loaded and naturally our closing on the house is gonna be delayed due to not having the central heat and air unit installed yet. The finance people won't sign off on the loan until it is complete. I am having to pay to put this system in the house before I buy the darned thing since the seller is totally broke .
Talk about a having a puckering backside !!! We are taking necessary steps to protect us. Looks like we should have the keys by the end of next week.

I didn't have to replace the tranny ... just tightened the bands and the dealer put in a new output shaft sensor. Should be good-2-go for a mid-week trip up near your neck of the woods.

We had a Dolphin Derby today and these guys were bringing in 35+ lb Dolphin and Wahoo. Lotsa sammiches !!!! (quite a few florescent red foreheads too !!!)

Thumbs up Mornin Folks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Looks like my internal alarm clock has gotten used to me working daylight hours because I seem to wake up at 0630 every morning wether I have to go to work or not. The Mexican-Micro-Mutts started jumping around on the bed to go outside anyway,,,,,,, I played possum long enough for the wife to get up and let them out,,,,,,,, but by then,,,,, I had to go! It figures,,,,,,,,
I've only got one more week of all 8-4 shift and then I have to go back on rotating shift for 4 weeks. Then it's back to all daylights again for another 10 weeks to finish training. Thought I might be able to snag an "all daylight" job,,,,,,,,,,,, but it looks like I'll eventually go back to rotating shifts after training.
Sure hope some of you fellas start having a little better luck! What ever ya do,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, don't send any of it this way!
The sky looks like it doesn't know what it wants to do today, so I might as well drink another cup of coffee until it makes up its mind.

Have a good one,,,,,, and God bless to all that have served our country.

Looks like more of them twisty clouds may show up later today. No damage around me, but folks to the north have their hands full. Had to detour this morning cuz of washed out roads.
