New week.

Breakfast of Snausages, Eggs, and Pancakes is done ('cept for the dirty dishes)
Working on cup-o-coffee number 3.

Time to clean out the gutters.
Takes longer to get the ladder out.
Low pitched roof + backpack style blower = 10 minute job.

Not too much else to accomplish today.

To all you Hunters,.....Good luck in the woods.

Y'all B safe

Afternoon youins,
Rain, overcast, gloomy day Did manage to get some wood cut and split. Needed a bunch of help yesterday. Had a huge Jacuzzi hot tub to move. Had to use the Dodge to pull it to the end of the porch. Then we found this little thingy that when you turned it and waited a couple of beers, the tub got a bunch easier to move.
Short week starting tomorrow. Gotta start up the smoker Wednesday.
OBTW, came across a nice looking 1st gen (with the rams head on the hood) regular cab one ton for sale. Don't know anything about it but will check it out if anyone is in the market. The man that owns it used to raise horses but age and health is getting the best of him.
The mill is supposed to be in this week. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, I'll have flour and corn meal going.
Will be headed toward the right coast the first of April for a glow in the dark and blow your eyeballs out course. Planning on tacking a few days of vacation on each end, so lock up your liquor cabinets and gun closets. Don't worry about the women folk, they're safe.
Smell my favorite meal cooking, burnt something. Time to go eat.

Shortround out

Monday

Waking up to another day in the Land of the Free.
Remembering those in harm's way who sacrifice to provide and protect that freedom.

Much to be Thankful For.

Morning all, rainy day here and supposed to stay like that for a few more. Oh well, just thankful to be here.
Saw some cool stuff at the bike show, I liked the BMW's for some reason (never had before). There was a Russian brand there that I had never heard of, Ural, they looked like vintage WWII stuff, and most of them had a sidecar which was
Did not see the ones I really wanted to see, the KTM's. As they are mostly off road use, I guess they decided not to show up. Checked out some choppers built by Strokers of Dallas and decided I need to be an MD or lawyer to afford it and have 5" longer arms.

Take care, time to get some .
