Mornin' !!!

It was a brisk 70 degrees out this morning ... had a little dew on the windshield to wipe off. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth all the hardships to live here

The speedboat races are going on down here this weekend ... lots of money floating around.
I worked a food booth last night for the guy that owns Popeye's Chicken and several other ventures and has entirely tooooo much money.

He had two huge cigar boats sitting on the pier, two big million dollar tour buses, each with a new 4-wheeler in the cargo hold (next to the outdoor plasma screen tv ), his private yacht is bigger than the first Navy ship I was on and was being cleaned from top to bottom by several lovelies in skimpy bikinis (I drooled over that for quite a while ) and lastly he had his two monster trucks staged on the pier next to the bandstand.

But then I came to the conclusion that this guy wasn't TRULY successful ... because I didn't see a bomb'd Cummins powered Dodge Ram !!!

Enjoy your day ...

Nice day here, 'bout 60* at 4:30 am. Had to get in early today to leave early so I can go deer hunting this afternoon. Started a caffeine IV as soon as I got here.

Have a good one y'all

37* here this morning. Heading down to GVSU this afternoon to bring my daughter home for the weekend. Taking the CTD, of course. Besides, my daughter loves the truck as much as I do. The weatherman is talking about serious snow into next week. Oh, well, that's what I get for living where I do. Looking forward to spending winters where it's warm in a few years.

What a wake up call!

Working on the 'Puter at the office.
Received a new E-mail message.
Clicked on the message.
Heard a crackling sound in the back of the Monitor.
Picture went dark.
The required amount of smoke installed in my old picture tube style monitor at the Hyundai factory all leaked out.

Now looking at a 15" flat sceen.

Typical Friday.

Good Morning, everyone! Cloudy, rainy, and 51 degrees. Got the daughter home from college for the weekend, and it's always fun when she's home! Y'all have a great weekend, whatever you've got planned. (Yeah, a guy from Michigan can say "y'all")

Well, back at it... spent the first half of da week in da woods lookin for a tirty pointer. Only activity was doin like da bears a couple times, wishin I had a 2-holer. Uncle got a 6 point spooked out to him. Had ta help drag it outa da swamp. Awful warm out. Neck wasn't swolen, few, small rubs, and hardly any shootin. Maybe da cold next week'll get da rut goin, eh?. Upersledder, you get yer buck?

Nothing wrong with my clock, Dennis. Was up at the crack of dawn, going to install a new seal in my differential. Got the u-joint apart and the drive shaft dropped, but couldn't break loose the nut holding the yolk in the diff. Even used a 1" drive impact wrench, and no go. I decided that the seal wasn't leaking that badly anyway. THEN, I logged in here to say "good morning" to my DTR brothers. Priorities, you know.

Lots of nice hardware at the International Motorcycle Show (lot of nice software too, if you know what I mean ) Check it out if it comes to a place near you. They had the "steel ball of death" or something like that. I've seen if from afar at the circus and seen it on TV, but when you are standing 20 feet from it and see how small it is and how fast those guys are going and how close they are it is absolutely amazing.
