70 degrees right now. Looking at a 40+ degree drop by morning. So with that thought in mind, all you right coast folks better get your longhandles out.
Wife has hid the trashcans so I guess I'll fire up a couple of saws and the splitter.
I'm hungry. Someone fix me breakfast. For some reason I can't get the wife moving, it's only 0530.

Washed the beast yesterday while at work. Now we got rain/snow forcasted for tonight and tommorrow. Got home yesterday and found survey stakes planted in the front yard. Turns out the county is surveying to bring water through. WOO-HOO. Great well water, but at best, 6 gals per minute. Really brings new meaning to "I'm going to take a quick shower".

Have a good week.

70* yesterday, supposed to be close to that again today. ;D

I checked with the Harley dealer, and snow chains are still on back-order so steer that cold and white stuff farther north.

Coffee's on, but there's no activity in the stove area of the kitchen........where's that trash can?

The two year old grandbaby and her mother where having a rather loud discussion concerning breakfast. :

"cookie"
"No, you're going to have bacon and eggs"
"COOKIES"
"NO,,, you don't need cookies for breakfast"
"COOK---IES",,,,,,,,

Smurff Claus must have stopped by last night. Walked outside and lo and behold, there was an ice chest FULL of light blue and dark blue beers. Cold at that. Being the considerate person that I am, I sampled one to ensure that it was safe for human consumption. It was. Think I'll wait till 4 or 5 pm and call Smurff and tell him he forgot his ice chest.
Getting cold and fast. Temp has dropped 17 degrees in 45 minutes. Methinks Scotty left the gate open and allowed the beast to escape. Guess I'll get the stove ready to fire up. The wife (AKA Lizard) will be searching for heat before the afternoon is very old.

60 here...cloud cover moved in last night around 10:00 while I was enjoying the fire. Now it is raining and the wood will be too wet for the long weekend ...no extra tarps or cover. Oh well.

Garden still coming along. Caul., cab & brocco producing well now. Collards are looking great (read large). ;D

Have a good day.

Re:Water cooler time, 23 - 30 Nov 03

Mornin' y'all,

40* this morning at 0530, according to the Dodge weather station. Good thing it doesn't snow where I'm at. I can stand about three days of cold and then I'm ready for fire season to open again.

Tranny appears to be circling the drain, I'm still recovering from the sticker shock I got when I found out what my performance trans of choice is REALLY going to cost me. Wife almost had a heart attack, now she thinks I'm gonna get stranded on the way to work if I don't get it done today.
Hopefully we'll make it until after Christmas.....

Y'all up there on the Yankee side stay warm....... 8)

A nice pic of me in my "Tactical Vehicle Movement Controller" job. Must have done good tho, no wrecks or "dear" strikes.
