Re:Water Cooler 11-17 May

Venison anyone?......I got a bunch of it hanging off my stepbars.... and mudflaps...andgrill....and bumper...and windshield..... I was right behind a 18 wheeler this morining doing around 75 when a deer ran out onto I-90. Guy didn't even have time to go for the brakes. I was splattered with guts and blood, and fresh meat...oh and freshly eaten grass too. What a mess. I was getting the looks the rest of the way in. At least I wasn't the one to make contact. Not a mark on the tractor. OK, breakfast anyone? : ... ;D

Re:Water Cooler 11-17 May

Well, about time to go. Been intresting. We had everything from an oversize load striking two overpasses, to an airplane hitting a cement truck a little while ago. Cessna 150, two serious injuries, hasn't gone fatal yet. Not sure if he was coming or going when it struck a cement truck on the highway next to a private strip and barrell-rolled. Rescue had a good response time as well as chopper.
Take it easy,
Don

Nice elipse last night. Was able to sit on my sun room and watch it through the binoculars. Stayed up just late enough to enjoy it.

But then 0-dark:45 sure comes awfully early.

Glad I have my coffee and coffee and coffee and breakfast burrito and coffee

gettinwiredoncoffeeandcoffeeDW

Re:Water Cooler 11-17 May

Well I guess it always works out that way, yesterday held over for overtime because we're understaffed, busy as heck, planes crashing and everything. Good staffing today and it's nice and quiet. Even had some rain this morning, which usually makes things busy. Coffee's good, couple chocolate chip cookies for breakfast.....

Painful working weekends, but usually they're slow which helps make it bareable. Gonna take Karen and Chris to Ludington after work to see the BIG lake, play on the beach, and look at some boats.
