Jordi, over here we call trucks "Cummins", or at least me and Karen do. When we see a truck we say, "That's a Cummins!" Of course, if the truck does not have a Cummins, we usually just stay quiet.
Welcome.

What you need is the tubs of Jif that I buy that weigh about 3 lbs.
Jim- Austria has paved roads- I was at an offroad competition at that time and used the GIMP to resize the pics. http://bisanz.cc/Hohentauern_offroad_fun is the url to the site.
My wife prefers Peter Pan peanut butter- but she doesn't know Jif yet. (nor do I)
Marco- I won't comment on the speed side of my "thin air mods" without my lawyer and some armed personnel present
Let's say it has some get up and go.

Alpine--So that picture is real? I thought it looked like the truck's front end was sticking up in the air a little too much, like it had been cut and pasted into the picture of the scenery. But if that's real, well, I'll have to stick by my original assessment. I think coming over at that angle might give me a heart attack.
I like Jif the best. I'll ship you some if you want. Might start with a smaller jar, though, just in case.

JKE .... id like to see us americans support any form of motorcycle racing ( other than the already huge moto and super x ) like the european countries do. i guess nascar takes to many fans away from everything ( not complaining i like nascar 2 )

Buenos dias Jordi y bienvenido a este sitio. As you can see there are Ram owners from everywhere that belong to DTR. I am located in central Mexico, about a 2 hour drive NE from Mexico City. In fact, I will be Ram-ming (almost literally) through Mexico City tomorrow. The Mexicans just refer to it as "Mexico" or 'DF".
My stepson drives a Seat Ibiza and my step daughter goes to a university in Spain. She finishes in June and will be coming home.
I would suggest that you ignore about 50% of what some of the guys tell you. Now I am not going to call them liars, but a few of them do stretch the truth a Little. Wait a minute! A little? How about a lot!
This is definitely a multi-cultural site. If you include the folks from the southern states, well, then it is not only multi-cultural but also weird.
They also talk funny.

Hola amigos
first of all thank you all to write me. I didn't think that so much people would write me. It will be a lit hard to respond you all.
I can say that my parents have an american 4X4 car. Jeep Grand Cherokee, and my brother drives a lit 4X4 Japanese one, a Toyota Rav. For all who asks, SEAT do not make trucks, the kind of cars it produces are destinde to young people, SEAT is famous for making sports car. One of the bests is Leon Cupra R 225Cv. The seat’s car names are inspired in towns and cities of Spain: León, Ibiza, Cordoba, Altea, Alhambra, Arosa, Toledo, Inca... Would be interesting that one of them had the name of my city. Can you imagine the SEAT MANRESA? Sure It would be a pick-up truck!!!
To cmckinney: 2000 euros per week... I think if I save money during 5 years I’ll will be able to enjoy your truck... during a week. If you want to travel to Spain notice me I will show the best places to visit. I would like to see some pics of your 2000 euros truck!!!
JKE: In my town lives TONI ELIAS, a champion in motorbikes. But I must apologise I haven’t much knowledge about Moto GP... But I can get information about Toni Elias if you want, supose you must know him. // so If I buy an old Dodge I will must call it Farm truck? Farm is “granja” in Spanish, “camión de la granja”.
Sweeper54: My parents spend every weekend of spring season at a lit town called ‘Blanes’, If you stayed at Lloret de Mar (Mar is a word from catalan language, and means sea in english, you can translate ‘Lloret from the sea’) maybe you can remember Blanes because it’s only 6 km near from. ‘Costa Brava’ is famous for tourist with some of the best beaches of our country.
2manydogs: Jim, it’s true that’s the best truck web I’ve never found. And it’s true I can find a lot of people every time. But you should have to sleep at lest some hours!!!
AlpineRAM: It’s true that if I have 60000 euros (moreless 60000 dollars) I can buy a Dodge Ram in Spain, but I think that will be cheaper in renting cmckinney’s truck!!! And my face really changes when I see a Dodge in Catalonia!!! // Well, my van uses “biodiesel” and I think is the cleanest fuel that exist. Can the biodiesel fuel work well a tan american truck? You will have to explain me what’s those Edges and the shlushbox. As I see you have a good friendship with egghandler, sure both trucks as much better than my combo van.
Egghandler: Well, I’m now starting with a European Van: Opel combo. Is not as great as a Dodge pick-up, but I consider it a great car (even is not a great one). And if I try to buy a truck, wish you will show me the best way.
Marco: Even Italian people love trucks!!! Supose your ram is a great one, and you will put some pics soon. Italia is nearer of Spain than America, I think if someday travel at Italy the first thing I’ll do is get a sight at your pick up!!! How is exhaust pipe in italian? // You’re true, SEAT is from WOLSWAGEN group, I’ve heard that a lot of Italian people buy seat cars, it’s that true?
Jfpointer: United States is really huge, and I supose it will be a loooot of Dodges. At Seat I distribute car parts of different trademarks: SEAT, WOLSWAGEN, AUDI and SKODA. Is a easy job which helps me to pay my studies.
Redleg: Ok, Now I know what I have to say when I see a great truck “that’s a Cummins”!!! I like this word. Another one to grow better my vucabulary.
Mexstan: You are true saying this is a multi cultural site. We must have to show this at directives of dodge and obligate them to produce trucks at the rest of the world. Where exactly your step dawghter studies? At my college I can find a lot of mexican people. SEAT Ibiza is a good car, and you must congratulate your son for driving a seat one.

Hi Jordi!
I bought mine used, so it wasn't that expensive. (precisely 25 000€ 3 years old and 45000 kilometers) -the automatic transmission was defect. So I rebuilt the transmission and did some other stuff to it. If you have good clean biodiesel the only thing you'll need to change on the ram pickup is some part of the fuel hose, but these parts usually go bad every 5-10 years all the same so you invest in 3 meters of 10mm fuel hose. The automatic transmission is called "slushbox" because it's feeling rather loose in stock form.
An Edge Comp is an electronic module that is used in the 24V dodge ram. It will make about 120 hp over some parts of the powerband. (see http://www.edgeproductsinc.com/ )
Browse through the high performance aftermarket forums on this site to get used to the vocabulary.
Since we're both in the EU shall we compare notes on prices for used rams in our regions? I don't think that it should be that difficult to get the truck to you or vice versa.
Have a nice day!

Today is a good day for an spanish Dodge ram’s fan. I use to go at college all Saturdays and is not strange to see some kind of different cars near from. But this morning I have seen a dodge ram at college!!! If next week I have the opportunity I’ll try to speak with the owner (a lucky child younger than me!!!) and take some pictures. AlpineRam hits in the mark saying is easy to get a Dodge pick up all over the world.
BIG&BAD: It’s an honour to meet my first indian in my life. Should be interesting travel at Unite Sates and New mexico someday, but i don’t think I’ll be able to do this at 15th august. Last summer arribed a Harley Davinson’s meeting at Barcelona. I was there and finded it amazing! And I had the opportunity of see a Dodge Dakota!!!
AlpineRAM: You really know a lot about mechanical and car parts. What does I need to learn so much? I’m shelving all the information You give me in the case that I buy a Ram someday. Now I’m happy to know what does mean slushbox and I didn’t realise that fuel was so important. 2500 euros is still too expensive for my capital, and think that getting spare parts, car repearing and manteinance is hard and not cheap too. This june I’ll buy my first car (the van I drive is not mine, is my parents’ company) and I will try not to pay more than 15000. I found a 2nd Hand Dodge Ram at an Spanish conssesionary and the price was 30000.
2manydogs: You would have to see my younger brother making trial with a 10 years old Suzuki Vitara 4x4!!
