Can't go wrong with the foxpro, I use one, (356, I think) If I was to get another one it would be the FX5. I still us an ole Johnnny Stewart cassette caller with great success also.

You cant go wrong with the old Johnny Stewart game caller. Man i love that thing. It is a crow calling machine, literrally! And as well for foxes, but here its illegal to kill them with a caller, so i just watch them run to me. They are so pretty. But for some reason they seem to fall when they get about 25 yards from me. Must be heartattack or something.

I just bought a Johnny Stewart Digital for $30 at Wally World. My son and I have decided to take up Coyote hunting. The first time out we didn't see any coyote's but an owl came in close after having the rabbit in distress going for about 3 minutes. He sat on that tree branch looking at that call down in the weeds for about 15 minutes.

Yeah you have to be careful crow hunting if your near a tree line, hawks and buzzards will come to it as well. I had a bad experience, i thought it was a crow coming over the tree line, well it wasnt..

Varmint Calls

The best one I've ever seen was made by a company called "Wildlife Technologies". However they are very expensive. Several people I know use them and say they will call in shy animals much easier than the other calls. I personally dont know but I do know these guys shoot lots of varmints.

HTH.

Been using the Johnny Stuart for years, we hunt coyotes and bobcats. Went out last night, but didn't see anything.
