"Unlikely" favorite tastes and smells
While there are lots of tastes and smells that are commonly regarded as pleasant or good, here is a list of some of my “unlikely” tastes and smells that I like.
Unlikely smells:
Broadleaf tobacco curing in a barn in South Georgia
Diesel exhaust from a Greyhound bus on a cold morning
Fresh cut hay after lying in the field for a day
Marshland right after high tide
Rotten leaves in a woods right after a rain
Sawdust from a sawmill
“Sweet” horse feed
Puppy breath
My Grandma’s kitchen ~anytime~
A horse’s neck
Inside a Prince Albert tobacco can
Being downwind of a pet food factory
Unlikely taste combinations:
A Swisher Sweet cigar and a Dr. Pepper
Chocolate layer cake and a glass of grape juice
A pack of Lance salted peanuts poured into a “small” Coke
Extra sharp cheddar cheese and a Pepsi
Ritz crackers and a Pepsi
Buttered toast and coffee
Limburger cheese and onion on rye
Maple syrup and ham
Hot apple pie with a slice of American or cheddar cheese melted on it
Fried sweet potatoes in butter (a little overdone)
Eggs (over easy) mixed with grits with salt and pepper
Squirrel gravy and fried potatoes
Are any of these familiar? Got anymore?

Inside of a spent shotgun round
Eggs (over easy) mixed with grits with salt and pepper
anyone from the south should love that...not very unlikely.
add a little maple syrup...
