TV Remote Control Programming

I figured with the broad knowledge base here someone may have some insight. I have an Echostar 1.5 IR remote, part number 119420 that I want to program to control volume and such on my TV set. Does anyone know where to look for something like this?

Just an FYI, if it is a brand new TV (new style, just on the market) then it Dish may not have a code for it. The company I work for deals w/ Dish network and what they usually tell is is check with the mfg company of the TV (via phone or website) to see if they have the codes.
