Yeah it worked out good. The boy gets his license in a year so i'm buying him a truck. He makes straight A,s I told jim if he stays in school and gets a real job it will be worth it. I dont mind driveing a good old 12V lots of fun and yes the Jeep will get the works lift, gears Supercharger, and alot more!

BossHogg, I might do a 3rd Gen just allways wanted to try a 12v. Seems to be a good platform to build big power. I don't know if it's cheeper to build old or new. I guess i should ask you guys what you think is best. Right now my son comes first on the list so it will take awhile to get there again.

ive tossed up the idea of selling mine a few times and posted it on here for sale and then ended up taking it off. one of the main reasons I havent sold it is because the truck is the most dependable thing I own. you can make a 12v run really well if you put the $ into it and most of the parts seem to be alot cheaper

Amen!! 3rd gens are very cheap right now due to diesel cost, consider that too. Well, I guess that would affect ALL diesels so nevermind, brain fart
