towed the tow truck

we had some snow last week, about a 1.5 feet worth, pretty decent, I was in a rush to get out of the driveway, and slid off the edge, into the neighbors yard and got stuck. Took 3 hours of digging and a tow truck to get unstuck. it was all pretty pathetic (the stuck in my own driveway part), all in all, I figure I lost 2 man cards. so the next day I was determined to get those cards back. I pulled a bunch of cars and trucks out of the ditch, but the mother load was this flat bed tow truck stuck in a ditch in my neighborhood. strapped up, 4 lo, pulled him right out, you will note, that it was on a slight grade as well.

Good job! Im jealous because we never see that much snow down here so we can make some pulls and be heros too.

I pulled a gmc Envoy that was high centered on the snow that was pushed off the road by the grader (don't ask me how he got up there). It took a pretty good tug to get him off. After, I realized that he was so excited about getting towed, he did not take it out of park. My friend said his drive line make one terrible crunch, then he popped right out.

you know what, I never thought in a million years I would be OK with Iowa (moved here for the wifes work) but it has been a lot of fun. cheap place to live, and once I figured out some new hobbies to fill in for my old ones (downhill skiing and biking doesn't really exist here) things have been pretty sweet.

the pheasant season hasn't treated me too bad either.

You guys are wishing for snow???!!! Can't tell you how many times I've gotten stuck up in Loveland cause they shut down the tunnel. It is nice pullin people out of ditches, especially if they're 5'7" brunette with a pretty smile
