I am headed the D.C. with my wifes two grandfathers. Both are WWII vets and want to see their memorial. I figure the least i can do is drive them down there..

Breathe taking memorial, you should stay there and spend time with them while they tour it.
One of the guy's I work with went to France for the D-day remembrance/celebration with his grandfather, a veteran of Normandy. They did the entire 3 week tour. He brought me back a water bottle full of sand from Omaha beach.
