I hear you, I have been looking and the internet is not the way to go. I will be home next month and I will hit the little music stores up and see what I find.

Well, the Texas Highways article was a dry hole! Amarillo, Abilene, but no Alpine. They did say that the folks at http://www.allmusic.com had the information for the background research done for the article, so you might try them.
