You might be right, and it would be great if you are but I just don't see it happening at least not for the old 12's and 24 valves. Maybe in 4 years when Cummins designs a new engine or maybe if DC come's out with the 4500/5500 trucks I could see a purpose for it then but not in 1 ton, just over kill in my opinion. We already pull well over the leagal limits of the trucks now could you imagine what I would do if I had a real Jake on the truck.
