stolen snowboard

So i just wanted to rant a bit hope you all dont mind

this last saturday i went up to keystone to do some snowboarding, first trip of the year. i had some friends staying at a hotel in town so another friend and i took my truck up to meet them. we got in around 8 am went up to their room to wake them up to wicked hangovers from the last night of drinking they did. any way i go back down to the truck to get our gear and in 15 minutes some one stole my board with new bindings

it was in the bed of the truck, some worthless little bleep took mine but left my friends, a girls board. i was so mad and still am what the Hell is the world coming to so i was out 500 in gear and now i need a topper to protect my stuff. un real
so mad
so i went out and got some the new never summer SL and some flow nxt at bindings to drown my sorrows along with over 15 beers that night
still mad but getting over it

I hear ya, Last week my wifes coat was stolen at work. The worst part is it cost $400 and had to be a coworker that took it.

The problem is that people know they can get away with things like this, and if they do get caught, maybe a slap on the wrist and that's it. Criminlas are for the most part cowards, and if the penalties were stiffened or at least enforce the current ones, much of this crud will stop. Was probably some teenage punk.

I've been lucky so far, been carting my snowboards around in the back of pickup trucks for the past 14 years and never had one disappear.

Sorry to hear you got ripped I hate thieves and liars, liars and thieves

I wish they would bring back Public Humiliation as a form of punishment for crimes like this. Lock their heads and hands in stocks on the Court House square so all their neighbors can drive by and wave at them... or perhaps toss rotten tomatoes

Something like they do in the Middle East. May be even some public stoning.
Actually I would rather that not happen.
But what I would like is that they had to live with me for one year Ya got to know they would be rehabilitated and I would pay for their food or lack of it.Oh yes I can feel the rehab for them now, man it is good they will never do bad again. Heck they will not waste the air that we breath either.

i think its the parents too what the hell are they doing now a days, all hopped up on anti depressants and pain pills to know what their kids are doing. this is just my opinion of the bad seeds but yeah i think a more in your face sort of punishment would deter folks from crime more
Clayten how do you like that area i think my roommates are moving north of vancouver for school

That sucks. Unfortunately, I think we will be seeing much more crimes of opportunity like the ones mentioned above due to the economy and job losses.
