Or that dieselgas poured down the carburetor got sucked up by the injectors causing a closed loop perpetual motion runaway condition and he is still chasing it around the field. Its quite common on the older towel aspirated engines.

How do you bomb those? With a more porous towel?

I was out of town. Yes it is a diesel engine. I used gas to fire it up through the intake the same way one member said to use wd-40.

LoL! Glad you made it back. Heaven only knows what direction your post may have taken. Sorry I cant help much but I am still a firm believer in whacking older tractor motors with a heavy rubber mallet. It really does knock things loose on the carb jobs. Prob doesnt do much for injected models.

You need to order the "Blue Wool" towel from Scotty. It'll put ya back in your seat. Speeds the hydraulics up nicely too.
