Cummins - Satsifaction Pulling Tractor Explosion - Old Pics??
In the last 2 days I've received it twice from two different sources. It's a power point show with pictures of a small sled pulling tractor named "Satisfaction" during and after a the block catastrophically fails. The engine appears to be a 12V, the stenciling on the tractor claims point champion 1995 through 1998.
The slide show itself claims it was 100 PSI of boost that causes the failure.
The first email I received had a note about some engineer telling the tractor owner that the engine only has a factor of safety of .9??
What is urban legend here and what is fact? Does anyone know first hand or seen documented the conditions that surrounded this failure?
Thanks,
Ryan

If its the same pic I'm thinking of, it was an Internatianal tractor and the block broke in 2 right about the camshaft , that engine would have been Dt466 or liitle brother 403.
