I have a Benelli M1 Super 90 auto with Surefire tactial grip and this is very reliable as long as you do not use a weak load. When I first got it I had some light birdshot and it would not cycle properly. I now use hot loads and it is fine. I have many boxes of .00 buck and a few boxes of slugs.
After I got it I took a class with my son and we shot 250 rounds in a 3 hour class.
Shoulder pads helped alot.
I also have Mossberg, 870 Remington, Ithica Deerslayer.

I would never shoot an unarmed skeet.

I have a Winchester 1200 Defender for self defense work. Owned it for 25 years and has been very reliable.
For bird guns I have a Browning Citori and Winchester 101.

You've obviously never been hit in the head by one.

Hurts, don't it! Been there, done that. Lucky it was just a hand thrower!

I had a Mossberg 590, and although it never gave me a problem and was reliable with whatever I fed it, there was just something about it (feel or something) that I didn't care for... so I traded it for a Glock.

I know it is just a personal preference, but I prefer the 870. The only time I have seen them have a problem feeding is when they start getting a little sticky after tons of slugs and buckshot, and someone doesn't cycle the pump completely.

I have a winchester super X2. I don't have time to pump, I just pull the trigger over and over. beautiful thing is, when you shuck it the first time, it sounds just like a pump because it loads when a shell is in the magazine coming up to the chamber...

Hehehe...I'm just as fast with my pump as my father-in-law is with his semi-auto...if not faster.

Nope, But I was on the pier in Huntington Beach Ca. with my family and we were going to eat at Johnny Rocket's at the end when I was hit in the head by a BIG stupid pelican. Just came diving out of nowhere and hit me. Must have weighed 5 to 6 pounds and when it hit me, it crapped on my head. I had to stick my head under the faucet in the sink where the fisherman gut their fish. Didn't enjoy my dinner.
Jim.

Hey Bobble Head Don...how do you keep that skrawny little neck from snapping back with that great big smart-melon on top when your shooting?
Thats gotta be some kind of nasty looking support collar to stop your head from flopping around after each round.
