All night long I missed my Alpine remote Ford has a bigger tank, needs it.

I honestly don't know about the Dodge slush box, but this one I could not even consider, no roll off torque, one hill in US 280 in traffic, I worried that it would break something wound up and barely moving. Ford should teach Dodge how to make a cruise control, so smooth and easy when empty. Worked good loaded too but there was too much downshifting and keeping the engine wound up to 3400. Once up to 70 it would cruise pretty good, but the truck is lost loaded heavy in boulevard traffic, stop and go.

I will stick with my Ram, sides I know where all the bolts are
Yep what you said. A Ferd chasis with a CTD powerplant. You'd like that truck much better with a 6 spd. Betcha that trans fluid was gettting a bit warm..

Ford auto trannys really are slushy...they let the engine rev up way past where it needs to be.

BTW Haulin, how much room between the rear window and the front of the GN? Looks awfully close in the pic, do you have to make longer radius turns or is the distance further than it appears in the pic? Nat

Actually I did not measure out the placement only checked that it had enough room to swing and it had more room than the Dodge has. There was about six inches clearance.
