Slate Bedliner

Well, I decided against concrete and asphalt, so I think I am going to go with a Slate Bedliner. I will let you all know how it works out.

Single piece or stacked shingles? I'd go with a single piecs to keep the weight down and I don't think youd have enuff pitch for shingles. Might help to fill the rae axle with helium to help the wieght rating.

I wish you had posted this a few weeks ago, I finally took my old pool table to the dump. Kept it all those years cause I knew it would be good for something. As usual, a day late and a few dollars short.

I have 6 pieces of pool table slate (2 pool tables) that I was going to put to use in my trucks... one table is 1" slate and the other table is 3/4" slate... thought it would be good for winter because i wouldnt lose the use of the bed like i do with a pallet of salt...

NOt sure is any or all of that is just joking around, but I nkow a few folks put stuff in the back of the truck for winter.

Remember to secure whatever you use. Those 80# bags of concrete become 80# missles in an accident

Plus if it snows or rains those bags become solid.
