Top, I just wanted to thank you for the FAQ on auto transmissions you wrote for the site. I ended up having to use it for my truck today. I changed fluid and filter, adjusted bands, installed new Trans Go shift kit(sweeeeed ) installed drain plug in pan and installed sender for trans temp guage. Without that article I would have been in deep Hoss ;D My transmission is much happier now as is the owner.
Glad to have been of service! Now go wash that greasy spot off your forehead! ;D

Now, if you were good, I mean, really good, you'd write an article on how to build a three level deck with sweeping entrances from the the southwest..... no wait, that's a different web site. Guess I'll shuffle over to the FAQs and read up on this new article. Since GONZO was a trooper, he might be easily impressed by the ramblings of those on high . Gotta love this site. You are da man, Top. Now about that article for the three level deck.......

Yes indeed. It is a great article, got pictures too. Detailed enough to make this clumsy fingered non-tech feel comfortable handling the job. Thanks Top. Now about that deck.....

~Dave
I'll sit down here in the near future and add how to do the shift kit to the FAQ. It has alot of detail and exacting drilling and grinding to the VB. It is very hard to take a perfectly good transmission and start cutting and chopping on it, I will say I was grinning like a jackass when I got done.
For some the grin of a jackass is a natural look. ;D That shift kit update will prove to be real helpful I am sure!.

Dave I will need the overall dimensions of the deck surface as well as the change in elevation required in order to supply the necessary drawings. And yes I have drawn blueprints before.
