WOW...I'm speechless

I do really hope you get your problems figured out, but like you said, God must have kept you here for a reason, and from what you've described, a VERY good reason

The feeling of being out of your body when your heart stops is an eirie feeling. I had it 4 years ago. Unbelievable experience and one that changed my life.

Good to hear everyone is ok. I pulled the same thing a while back with my '99 3500. I rear ended a Chevy S-10 with my 300 pound steel bumper on the front of my truck. I did $3800 of damage to the S-10. I suffered a scratch on the drivers side. No kiddin', no damage at all. That is why we drive big ol' trucks with big ol' bumpers and not sissy S-10's!

Ouch is right....your bumper took quite a hit - you're right the insurance co is gonna freak....lol.

The problem with that kind of injury is symptoms can show up a lot later. I had a minor whiplash years back and it still bothers me from time to time and probably always will.

Good reason to get yourself a white truck with the baby poop interior just like mine...

Sorry about your truck but glad your weren’t hurt badly. Hope you have a speedy recovery on the back.
Congratulations on the 21 years of sobriety. That’s cool!

I hope it works it with the young mans insurance company. I was involved in an accident that was not my fault and the other parties insurance company (allstate) was a huge pain, especially when it came to covering any aftermarket equipment. If they start to give you any hassle at all, I would get a lawyer involved. I wish I would have even though I despise lawyers 99% of the time.

Glad you are going to be ok.

Its a good thing that mini van didnt hit you outside of your truck, otherwise, as solid as you appear, that mini-van would look like it just came out of the crusher.

The young mans parents insurance is the same insurance I have and they signed off with full responsibility. I have all my recpts for the stuff that is damaged and they only depreciate it if its older then one year. All the stuff on the front of the truck is well under a year old.
Appraisers are checking it out tomorrow. Then when the body shop gets into it they will find more.
the mini van is totalled...2002 van. This is going to be a big claim. The kid was charged as well. Insurance adjuster told me they have more then enough coverage.

Better today, getting massage treatments. Start stretching tomorrow and light weights on Weds.

Thanks

Man that makes my arm hurt. Got hit by a drunk driver, he got out and ran. I wasn't even driving. I was in the passenger rear seat. Broke my arm in 3 places. Glad ur ok. hmmm Maybe that rumored Dodge "megacab" might be in ur furture! My arm still bugs me. Especially when I get "lazy" for a couple months it really starts bugging me. Again. good luck on everything, phyically and insurance wise.
