We can't always put the blame on our judges if it goes to the jury. The key part of our court system is the jury. The judges wouldn't have the chance to grant dumb verdicts in many cases if the jury would do the job right and use some common sense. The jury is the major factor in justice ... be it just or unjust. <br><br>Jerry

 

Yeah, those jury's are full of people that couldn't get out of jury duty!

Does my heart good to hear stories like that one. At least she wasn't one of thousands that cower on their knees and let the bad guys have their way with the situation and take as long as they like to do it. <br> I applaud her actions even though she will probably get shafted when it is all said and done. That is one jury duty I would volunteer for. Ok ... I'm gettin off the soap box.<br><br>PISTOL

 

At least it (hopefully) might send a message to thugs from all over the place... Now they might think twice about what they're about to do... One can only congratulate the homeowner in a situation like this. Who knows, maybe after she gave them all her posessions they might have raped and killed her as happens way too often in other cases... If this were Canada like TBGH said they'd be all over her if she had her gun registered and all that Bulls&amp;$t...
