Please don't start a drinking thread with this, my intent is to give perspective to someone that "may" have a problem, AND this is for the guys that have a professional interest in rescue/ law enforcement. Thanks.

Last night a Deputy was attempting to locate an ouil driver on the freeway. While enroute, the suspect had changed directions and collided head-on with the deputy. Both drivers died at the scene. The report is that responding deputy's could not get close to the patrol vehicle that was on fire to assist the officer. A gun shot from the vehicle was heard. A cadaver dog is enroute for a search, I won't elaborate hear.

I did not know the deputy, but the agency is within our district, and I use to patrol adjacent to them. Two of us in here today, and I just wanted to express a little. Just take under advisement and carefully pick the time and place for fun.

That's really sad. I hate stupid people that do stupid things. > The deputy (and maybe the drunk) will be in my prayers.

 

No offense Blue, but it's their families and friends that need to be in your prayers. The deputy and the drunk have already passed away. It's a little late to pray for them.
