Mike, bout the only other thing I could think of to honer our 343 fallen brothers and all other fallen firefighters for that matter would be to make shure the Flag at your station is at half mast along with the one at your school. Other than that I can't think of anything else, very responsible thinking Mike.

Good on ya, Mike. It does my heart good to see a young man like you with the intestinal fortitude (guts) to stand up and do what he believes is the right thing to do ... regardless of what everyone else is doing.

Only thing I could suggest would be maybe to go talk to the principal a few days ahead to see if he will hold a moment of silence over the school intercom and to ask his teachers to ensure that proper respect is given inside the classrooms. Sounds like you got er' covered otherwise.

Its been a few years since I was in high school but why cant you talk to the principal/adminstration to find out?? If there are no plans - why cant you get something going? Just a thought.

well...our schools a bit out there...and doesnt reconize anything but racial comments twords african americans....9-11 last year was not metioned as katrina was all that mattered because bush hates black people...but befor this goes political...ima stop...
