Satellite photos ...
I used to have a link to a site that could produce satellite photos of just about anywhere (keyword: FREE) but somehow deleted it. You could put in the address or as much as you knew of it and it would show up in a format that would allow you to zoom in to a certain extent. I looked at a photo of my old house once ... pretty cool.
Anyone have a link to something like this ?? I am looking at buying a small farm out of state and this would help me see the layout of the property.
Thanks,
PISTOL

Re:Satellite photos ...
That is the site I use. Most places are covered on it.
Here is a clickable link to get you there:

Third on Terra. Most places are there, but I have had trouble finding places in Georgia and Montana. I guess they did not think enough folks would want to look at my place.

Terraserver was great in the beginning.
You could zoom in enough to make out details.
Zoomed in on my house, could see that my truck wasn't in the driveway, and the church parking lot was full, even though Teraserver said it was a Thursday ??? and I should have been home at that time.
Then after they got people hooked, they started charging for anything close enough to even see that it was your house.
