Ummm, you might want to skip the magnum loads though. Probably just use the .38's unless we run into a real mean one.
NO NO NO - - you are suddenly no fun at all. Our favorite trick when hunting is slow and we are hungry is nailing a couple squirrels with a gut shot with the .357 (no puny 38 shells, man) and see which one of us could leave the most squirrel for the fire. Neat when you can clean that sucker with one shot and still have one piece of meat fall out of the tree. ...

Morning all - - still stuffed. Boy that pecan pie was sure good. Nice time with family, then quiet time with just the two of us. Great time to sit, reflect on when those kids were little and how blest we are.

OK, ph00 and I am gone,

Bob

I hate squirrels. One time they even ate the seat off my snowmachine.

Last spring, the sprinkler pump began leaking, so I pulled it out to put in a seal. Got the wrong parts, been raining all summer, long story short, I just got around to putting the pump back in.

When I went to hook up the 1 1/4 inch suction line that I left open all that time, I found out where the shrew that's been stealing the cat's food has been stashing it.

It's tied in to our domestic well, so I was quite concerned about what else the critter would have left in there. Apparently, they poo in the cat's dish after all the food's gone, but the stash in the hose was clean cat food all the way back to the gate valve.

I can only guess that they want to thank us for leaving them something to eat.
My shrew had spelled out the letter "S" on the kitchen counter. I suspect most shrews are not that bright.
You may have to read the poop in the bottom of the cats food dish like you would read tea leaves in the bottom of a tea cup.
They may actually be saying something quite profound.

That was great!! Sounds exactly like our 11th grade class play.

Back when I still had a cat, the little rats would take food out of her bowl while she watched. They new she was too old to chase them any more. I didn't replace the cat after she died, I figured the wife needed something to do. She's a pretty good mouser. Should be taking another one to the post office soon.

I had totally forgotten about that movie.
I had read somewhere that they squirted shaving cream in some of the rats to make em look vicious.

Wife took another one to the post office last night. The postage is killing me.
I'm the master spider smoosher in my house. I have a powerful weapon that converts them from 3 dimensions to 2.

You arent mailing the dang things to me are you?

One of our neighbors says he has never seen this many shrews and voles before and he has been here since 59.

Sounds like you made a "shrewed" investment and it's now paying dividends.

'Member that little area that housed the bats? Why not advertise free condos for hungry owls? You could set yourself up a nice little business importing owls and weasels or,exporting moles, voles, and shrews to the lower 48 pet stores as food for vivariums.Just trying to help out here.....

I believe you may have won the worst pun of the day award.

Good thinking. Must not be any problems with sticking them in an envelope and sending them out. Think that is what cougar is doing with his.
