Make sure you drag him with the fur and not against. It makes a horrible sound when you do that.

For sure!! Dragging chaikwa against the grain would not only scratch up the wood floor but can you imagine the stuff he would pick up from the carpet.
Even a good dematting Comb wouldnt work. Lighter fluid and a candle would be the only option.
