Sure did.... Filled up today: 398 Miles / 6.98 Gals = 57MPG.

Wow, that's as good as my old Honda 350 back in 1972. A fellow at work told me a guy added a battery set to a Prius, altered the point where the little gasser motor starts up, charges his battery at night at home and drives to work & does his running around for 50 cents a day.

They do make a kit that lets you plug in your car at home or work and you can run up to 30 miles without the engine even starting. Someone figured out that the average person drives less than 30 miles to work so feasibly you could run your car for free (or what it cost to charge your batteries). The one downside to this is it voids every bit of your warranty.

Oh yeah, the electric motor makes 295 Lb-Ft of torque and the gas motor makes 87 Lb-Ft of torque for a combined total of 382 Lb-Ft of torque.
