Rockfish (striped bass) Recipes
Well i have 4 nice filets waiting for me in the fridge tonight...thinking of cooking them on the grill with some butter and lemon juice, anyone else have a good way to grill or broil rockfish?
i don't have the time or desire to do some special soup or chowder, or stuff it with anything, just wanna know the best way to grill these bad boys up!

Brush them with oil and lightly sprinkle some lemon pepper or montreal steak seasoning on them. I like the lemon pepper on most fish except for salmon. The montreal goes real well on salmon.

throw it out, fish is nasty, im serious, i hate it, i grew up in a baitshop, LOL, but seriously a good way to cook it is battered in Zataran's or other flavored dry mix, use beer as the wet for the batter, fry it up in LIGHT oil or bake it, you dont want the taste of the oil, the heavier the beer the better, Bud heavy works good and is cheap. add whatever spices and stuff you like. should be pretty good. also, you could use just a light dry rub and make sure it gets in the meat good and grill it.
