These kids would appreciate all the help they can get...Its a small native village on the south side of Iliamna Lake, so they have a hard time competing with more populated areas.....TIA

Those stupid beetles are destroying the firs and pines on my old mans place!

 

A friend of mines wife is a state nurse, and she was out there a few weeks ago an said the kids were so excited about making it to this stage of the contest....Wining the trip would be to cool....There would be a neat book...New York thru the eyes of an Eskimo child.....But she said the winners could get quite a bit of money for the schools science classes, which is greatly needed, these villages get a lot of hand me downs....Thank again.

yes, read the other contestants. tough against N Carolina. Patchegogue NY is a half hour outside the big apple. real tough trip, and they have a school budget of 5 + million. rolling my eyes.

heck, if they don't win, I may just send them to NYC anyways. and Niagara Falls, got to see that no matter.

ok, got it on my tab to vote more. we have the emerald ash borer. stupid asian beetles are vastly destructive from the inside.
