Question for the oil gurus
I will be changing the oil in both diffs on my Pathfinder. The manual specifies GL-5 oil in the front diff and GL-5 LSD oil for the read diff.
I have lots of GL-5 oil of the right viscosity on hand, so would like to make use of it. I also have some of the Dodge additive for older Dodge LSD diffs. The question is, can I safely use the GL-5 oil plus the Dodge LSD additive in the rear LSD diff?
