I remember seeing somwhere a quote about a politician being a person you would trust to make decisions about literally evertything involving your life, yet be a person you would not allow in your house. Wish I could remember where I saw it and who said it.

 

Politics: Greek word. Poli - meaning many or several. Tics - meaning blood sucking creatures.

I hate politicians.

 

If you hate em so bad why do you keep giving them your money every week?

 

Money? What money? The only people that get my money are Papa John's, Gumby's, Taco Bell, the Dixie Chicken, Kroger's, McDonalds, and on occasion, JJ'S liquor store.

 

he doesnt have a job, so he hasn't been "welcomed" into the real world yet.........lol

 

Papa John's, Gumby's, Taco Bell, the Dixie Chicken, Kroger's, McDonalds, and on occasion, JJ'S liquor store all have the taxes you pay them figured into the cost of what you buy.

 

Only because they have lots of guns, and more to the point, bigger ones than I do...

WE are the government!. Elected officials work for us, you can either complain all the time, or get involved and do something about it.

I have taken the time to talk face to face with my Senators and Congressman on multiple occasions, beats the heck out of whining about the "Government" and taxes .

No taxes= no Emergency workers, Schools, or the fine people who are fighting to protect OUR freedom. No roads to drive your truck on, or fresh running water in your home.

The list is endless, but It never ceases to amaze me how people will whine about taxes as they TAKE all they can get in return. My experience has been, those who whine the most, are usually the ones who have given the least
