Political Forums Site WOW!!!

Talk about a place to go when you need to blow off some steam. Took me 5 minutes to realize it was not the place for me. If your not grouchy when you go in there, you will be when you come out. I was just so shocked by what I saw there that I felt compelled to comment on it. THEY CAN HAVE IT.

I haven't spent much time over there yet...

Although it looks like not many have.

Also seems like nobody is considering my suggestions...

I did like some of the info put out on these forums that were on here, but that is just to hard core for normal people. Those folks seem like they are just there for the argument.

The forums need framework supporting quality above quantity. The people that rack up tens of thousands of posts on those sort of forums are the same ones who can't stomach a handful of posts if directly addressed on a given issue.

Hopefully it'll improve.

Darn neat idea, if I say so myself.

I went over there and made a few posts, but then realized that my blood pressure started rising everytime I went over there so I haven't even looked at it in a few weeks...

Well, the whole point was to keep that kind of junk away from here, and to give those guys a place to vent if they wanted to. Seems to be working okay. That forum runs about 50-80 posts a day which isn't bad for a little startup forum. I can tell you that it's definitely not for most.

Mainly, this suggestion.

http://www.all-politics.net/showthread.php?t=119

Followed by this suggestion. (Which I made last night.)

http://www.all-politics.net/showthread.php?t=160

And, above all else, this suggestion.

My biggest problem with most politics forums is the disorganization, which commonly leads to the same thing being rehashed in the same worthless, rhetorical ways time and time again. We seem especially lax with that currently.

Although I perfectly understand that it has just begun and isn't intended to be too time consuming on your behalf, and I do greatly respect the time you've already invested. I'd just like to see a site that's, in my opinion, better than all of the other politics sites out there.

Thank you.

I relate the new political site to moving the pig pen farther away from the house .... the pigs can wrestle in the mud all they want and we don't have to deal with the foul smell anymore !!

Thanks a million Jack

I'd say just make Begle the admin of the political forum.

Jack probably seizured himself into a coma as soon as he read that suggestion.

(No offense to anybody with seizures, or with comas.)

Begle's posts have been extremely polite lately. Has he been to charm school ?
