Picked up a 2000 Crown Victoria Police Car at Auction

119K, body is in great shape. Stuck a new battery in it and it started right up. It needed a new fuel pump so I picked it up and need to install it. (drop the tank)

It was $1500 at our City auction. I need a commuter car for work and have had my eyes on these. I need to take all the residual stickers off. Debage times 100. I will send some after pics when I'm done.

Gotta leave the push bumper on it though, and watch all the other folks driving around you slam on the brakes when you approach.

You'll have fun watching everyone hit the brakes as you come up on them...

When I was at the auction I spoke with a guy who owned a cab company. He said when he drives to Tucson and Flagstaff he takes his P71 crown vic, because people pull over to the right lane to let him by.

If you've ever driven to Tucson from Phx or Flagstaff everyone stays in the left (fast lane) to pass the trucks. I'm thrilled with the thought of them getting over for me.

I should have it cleaned up and running this weekend.

Awesome car man, my buddy got a 01 crown vic. It was an investigator car, navy blue, with working siren, light (on the dash), and P.A. (is that what it's called) system. Cool car.

I had an '88 Cop-price for a few years and that was the best thing about that car. Just get out in the hammer lane and floor it, everybody moves over out of the way.

Looks just like my company car, except I don't have the push bar or the residue from the decals. It's true what everyone is saying about people hitting their brakes when they see you.

Get ready for squeaky hubcaps.

Haha when I had my storm chasing blazer with all the antennas and the nice big grille guard on the front, people would pull over to the slow lane for me! Sure made traffic easy to get through!
