PC--Mac wireless networking ?
Ok, here's the scene:
Home computer=Dell tower running XP home. Broadband connection into a linksys broadband router and then hardwired to the Dell.
Wife has a work laptop--Powerbook G4 with the airport thingy--sorry, I'm mac dumb
She's wireless at work with no issues. The Mac sees the home network, but when the password (that I just set via the router software) is entered, it says that it's invalid.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

You need to take a look (on the mac) for the wireless options- WPA-PSK or WEP etc- this must be exactly the same as on the router. You'll also have options on how many bits and whether you want to enter the network key in ASCII or Hex. - As you write "password" I assume you did not set the router's admin password but the wlan passphrase .
Another possible issue is that there is a MAC filter on the router. Usually it's under WLAN security somewhere and blocks "unknown" computers from accessing the router.

If she's working for a big company with an IT dep. they can install some stuff that won't let you connect to an "unknown" network. (As in unknown to the companies IT dep.)
You can find it by doing the equivalent of a tail/var/log/messages -f in the mac shell (Don't know the exact paths for MacOS.
