So true, and it disgusts me. I'm only 19, but what happened to a dad being able to wack his kid for doin something wrong to teach him what is right. What happened to being able to protect man's property, his life? Its downright disgusting the direction this country is taking, and I will do anything to protect what values our fathers have given us and I'll be ragggging upset if some secular progressivist takes those freedoms away from me.

Its always the systems fault. When everyone is responsible, NO ONE is responsible. My oldest son just started school, it was a real eye opener for me how things have changed since I went to school. The fist fight one rings true to me. I grew up in a small town and thats how it was done. No knives, no weapons, no gangs, just two guys and their fists. Toughest guy won, and they still played together on the basketball team..

Wow very true. Makes you laugh and say what the heck happened at the same time. Unreal, I guess you have to read something like to realize how things have really changed

I went to high school less than 20 years ago here in Colorado,
and there were always trucks in the parking lot with guns in
gun racks, nobody thought anything of it. And believe me, I got
whupped alot by my dad as a kid and I turned out to what I
think is OK....

Sooooooo True.......

When I grew up in a little town in Idaho we always had pickups in the parking lot with guns, in fact we had gun safety class every year before hunting season, taught buy the fish an game. We would go out to the end of the football field and have our safety classes and target practice.
One day we were in class in the main bldg. and our shop bldg. was up on a bank 30 feet up, you could see it from the class room I was in. Well we heard a rifle crack right outside,(season just opened) we ran to the window an there was our shop teacher running across the parking lot to a 4 point mule deer. Yep us older guys were excused to help haul it up to the shop to dress and hang it...
