chaikwa.
I just sent you an email that may help shed a little light on some cheap, dual purpose power generation.

Morning all.

Morning All,

Late Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads. Had a good one myself. Steak dinner was awesome. Wifey bought me an espresso machine, so now I can make little tiny cups of scary strong coffee... Awesome

Spent about 10 hours yesterday working on the truck. When I had it up for sale I had pulled all the stereo equipment, decided to do a clean install and put it all back in. It was hot, brutally hot. In fact the weather is getting really bad here, heat wise, expected high for tues and weds is 100 and 101, havent seen that in years, and when coupled with 150% South LA humidity, well its bad. Yall send some rain my way, were in borderline drought conditions.

Matt, youd love it down here. We got em huge, bigger than you hand most times and a couple of pounds. We Cajuns refer to the as Sacalait (Sock-ah-lay) which is french for bag of milk.... Love em pan fried.

Been real busy in the field lately not much office time, hopefully my coworker gets back tomorrow like intended so I can retreat to the comfort and convenience of my office.

Take care yall....

Good to hear, Blake! other terms of endearment I cannot repeat here so I will just stick with be-be....family-nothin' like it. yikes, sweaty electronics...hope ya get good money for it!

Fronty, trex is ~okay, but not for the price or use you'd like. four inches gives you more than the required 2 and 1/4 for ventilation. how is cedar or hemlock in your area? no worries then, love water, rot and bug resistent.
problem would be the accumulation of debris underneath. holds water, etc.
is the concern. suggestion may be open grate tile, sand, then overlay of wood. drainage plus filling material to keep out debris. figure three bucks a sq ft total cost. my humble opinion.....

wow, tornado in Kzoo. Don's flooding links were eye opening; that concert was allowed to happen, floodgates opened as well. what are thinking over there Don, Claude and Chaikwa- or are they??!!

providing moral support and bold thinking for helping son get a job. He had been waiting for me to hit a few doors with him....

work tonight, so reviewing legal cr..fish, like Matt said.

heidi who may finally get rid of poison oak afore the winter

Might use the plastic wood for the ground contact areas and treated on top of it. The over all longevity of the deck should go up.

There are several synthetic sheet fabrics out now that you can lay down first, then put down the deck. Even 30# felt would work keeping your wood off the concrete. That is done on homes built on slabs all the time - - put down a strip of 30# felt, then the bottom plate is PT.

If you have room, marine treated (30 year life, not the normal treated) furring strips could be anchored to the concrete every 12 - 16" and the wood deck attached to them. That would add about 5/8" to the thickness. Whatever you do, at least add the barrier such as felt.

Hope the day after is a good one for all - - been up since 5am knocking out projects. Been lifting too much heavy stuff by myself (like 43" TV sets) plus even heavier stuff with help - - sooooo, enough is enough my back finally told me and really laid me out. Oh well, such is life. A little heat and a pill are helping. Grabbing some ph00 and getting out of here.

I understand the back pains, I get pinched nerves in mine frequently. Hurts like heck sometimes.

Makes sense, you're in MI, so you can have a nuke plant up there. I think here we are still using the old hamster in the wheel to make the 'lectricity.

Next system that moves in I'll give a swift kick your way. We've had enough rain here for a while.

I'd love to fish down south, I bet getting one of those big crappie on the end of my ultra light would feel like I got a whale hooked to it. I use to work with a Cajun guy, he was originally from Avery Island. He moved up here but alot of his relatives still live down there. I've heard him talk a few times about sacalait, neutra-rat, and a bunch of other stuff local to louisiana.

Afternoon everyone. Was a hot one today and humid too. They say its suppose to be over 90 here today and about 1000% humidity (at least it feels like one thousand percent) Got good news today, gonna have a three day weekend for the 4th of july, guess the big bosses decided they could do something nice for us for once. Gonna relax tonight,

Evening everyone.

Goodnight Scott.

Had some potatoes and summer sausage for dinner. Went into work on my day off for the 4th week straight. I don't know if it's dedication or stupidity. Got out of there around 1500 and came home and went swimming.

Stepped on a scorpion today, barefoot. Lil turd didn't sting me though. I ended his life rather quickly. 3 scorpions in three weeks. Bug guy is coming out....tomorrow.

Drinkin some beers.
